Finance journalist

As the Telegraph's senior personal finance journalist, Amelia covers all things money – from banking to fraud to consumer rights. She is particularly interested in money saving tips, financial loopholes and how to avoid payment traps. Out of work, you'll find her with her band, at harmonica school or making badges.

Top travel memory: "One is definitely eating freshly barbequed crayfish (leftover from a crayfish BBQ competition!) out of a coolbox on a street in New Orleans. The other was tracking down some akpeteshi (distilled palm wine) on my last night in Ghana. We found a man selling it out of a water bottle from his drum shop and we stayed there with him until 3am."
